I was born and “raised” in Florida but eventually “grew up” in Costa Rica. I guess you can call it a cross cultural experience. My educational background has ranged from formal studies in photography, architecture, graphic and web design with degrees from the International Center of Photography New York, University of California San Diego and Veritas University of Art, Design and Architecture.
I’ve been working as a professional freelance photographer and have been very fortunate to take on fun, fresh and upbeat projects. The photo lifestyle has allowed me to pack up and leave on some occasions and stay put and soak it all in on others.
Experiences have included working with architects and designers, promo material within the music industry, photojournalism and editorial assignments as well as image editing with award winning photographers and authors.
I believe photography goes beyond capturing your surroundings, it is about feeling and perceiving them, it is about the development of a personal view and unique interpretation of the random playground we sometimes refer to as the world.
I’m a nomadic witness of the world around attempting to speak without the use of words and I photograph the world as I am and not as it is
